We are here for you and your pet during this difficult time and would like to address some concerns that you might have.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) there is no evidence that dogs or other pets can contract or spread COVID-19, however; we are taking measures to protect our clients & employees from human to human transmission.
This includes increased cleaning & sanitation of door handles, countertops, and restrooms.
In order to comply with the recommendation for social distancing, we are temporarily changing our check in/check out procedures to prevent wait times in our lobby. We are asking that you leave your pet in your car upon arrival, and call if possible to let us know that you have arrived. We will call you or come to your vehicle when we are ready to check you in, and usher you thru the process from there.
We are limiting entry to 1 person per pet at this time. We are also instituting methods for you to order food, prescriptions, and other pet care items online with free delivery. We have recently launched our Hill’s to Home program that enables you to order prescription & nonprescription food. Once registered for the program, you can access the website directly at hillstohome.com or from our website. If you are interested please call us.
Within the next 2 weeks we will open our online pharmacy/store which will allow you to order/refill prescriptions and shop for other items from our website.
Now, more than ever, we all need the comfort & solace that our pets give us. We are committed to providing the care that they need in a safe & clean environment. We will continue to monitor the situation and make further adjustments as necessary.
Please contact us if there is anything else that we can do to accommodate you during this trying time.
Thank you for entrusting the care of your pets to us, Cedar Animal Medical Center (published 3/19/20)
